Schadé Vineyard & Winery is the third bonded farm winery in South Dakota. The winery is owned and operated by Jim & Nancy Schade at Volga, SD. Their goal is to produce a wine that is made from SD grown products. Currently wines are produced periodically throughout the year. These consist of Oakwood Red Table Wine, Prairie White, Dakota Red, Plum, Chokecherry, Rhubarb, Strawberry Rhubarb, Goldsmith, Raspberry Apple, Honey, and Tawny which is a port style wine.

Wines are available at the winery for tasting or purchase. Come and experience South Dakota wines with Extraordinary tastes from an Unexpected place.

At Schadé Winery, we believe in Good Wine and Good Times! Our winery is the very essence of South Dakota culture: relaxation, tranquil scenery and welcoming faces. In the midst of all of this peace and quiet, we put down the roots…in the form of grapevines.

Schadé Vineyard invites you to enjoy a unique South Dakota experience. Come enjoy a picnic in the vineyard during the last two Saturday evenings in July and every Saturday evening in August (advance reservations required). This is a fun family event, a romantic couple's evening or a great way to spend quality time with a good friend.
